PrefEdit helps you to view and edit shared preferences of other apps with basic backup/restore functionality. Shared Preferences is 1 of the ways that Android device applications can use to shop internal application data like feature flags, user settings. PrefEdit lets you view and edit them. It will:

📝 DISCOVER APPS 📝
PrefEdit discovers all the apps show on your device, including system apps, and keeps it ready for you to search it. It no longer list all the apps show your device because it takes significantly high amount of time to display all of them, plus users would search for them however instead of scrolling through the really big lists and finding them themselves.

🔍 SEARCH 🔍
PrefEdit provides you with a strong search functionality, conveniently located at the bottom for easier access, which not only lets you search apps from the really big list of apps that are generally show on your device, but also search preferences by its key name or value of a shared preference file of an application, or in all the shared preference files itself. Convenient!

🧰 ADD & EDIT SHARED PREFERENCES 🧰
PrefEdit lists all the shared preferences of an app, and lets you edit them. It also lets you add your own shared preference entry. It supports all the preference types that the Android device framework supports (String, Integer, Long, Boolean, Set).

PrefEdit automatically backs up the original preference file before your changes are saved, and lets you restore them afterwards (in case some mishaps happen, but we are sure that won't happen).

PrefEdit does not automatically edit shared preferences by itself and is not responsible for any mishaps caused by editing shared preferences (which is done by the user). Additionally, privacy of user changes and the apps in question is maintained as PrefEdit does not in any method upload them anywhere.


REQUIREMENTS
1. Root access - Root access is important to read and edit preference files. Without root access the application cannot work.
2. Storage permission - Required for making local backups.

- Remove Ads - Removes adds completely and permanently from the app.
- Unblock pro features - Unlocks pro features permanently in the app.

NOTICE REGARDING IN-APP PURCHASES
All the in-app purchase stuff are individual and grant the said functionality. It does not enable or depend upon other in-app purchases. In other words, the "Remove Ads" ii-app purchase will only remove ads and not unblock pro features, similarly "Unlock pro features" in-app purchase will only unblock pro features and not remove ads.
